Organica Pond Clarifier
In most cases, poor pond water quality is a result of an overload of organic matter, including excess nitrogen and phosphorous. This build-up serves as a food supply for algae, anaerobic bacteria, and certain weeds. You may not only see algae blooms and scummy conditions, but you can often smell the results of poor water quality.
Pond Clarifier is an all-natural, microbial based product highly effective for maintaining superior pond, lake and decorative fountain water quality. It contains absolutely no synthetic chemical ingredients. Rather, it is a concentration of selected, proprietary, naturally occuring microbes which act to bring pond water back into ecological equilibrium. The result is reduced organic sediment and particulate in ponds, reduced sludge, elimination of foul odors, enhanced conditions for aquatic life, and clearer, cleaner water. This product is the organic alternative to harmful chemical quick fixes. Available in 1 lb., 5 lb. and 25 lb. sizes.
Directions for use for small ponds:
Initial Application: Use 3 tablespooons for 100 gallons, or 15 oz per 1000 gal of pond water as a shock treatment.
Subsequent Applications: should begin 2 weeks after initial application and continue at 2 week intervals thoughout the season. Product should be applied at the rate of 1 tablespoon per 100 gallons, or 5 oz per 1000 gal of pond water.
*If initial application begins when green water is already present, use 3 tablespoons for every 100 gallons of pond water (shock dose) at 2 week intervals until you see an improvement in water clarity. Then apply every 2 weeks at subsequent application rate.
Directions for use for larger ponds:
First application - use 8lbs., depending on pond condition, per acre/foot of water.
Subsequent applications - Use 2 lbs. per acre/foot of water monthly.
The shelf life of Pond Clarifier is 2 years.
