E-Trap

Lentek's exclusive patent pending E-Trap technology captures flying insects by using an innovative and totally revolutionary electronic grid pattern. The flying insects are lured in to the trap by specially designed ultra-violet lights. As the insect enters the E-Trap moving toward the reflective grid located at the rear of the trap, it experiences a continuous low voltage shock which temporarily disables the insect. It then drops down into Lentek's exclusive sound suppression chamber where the insect is trapped. A second low voltage grid in the chamber removes all moisture from the air, causing the insect to dehydrate and die in a short period. The drawer under the chamber is easily removed and the dried insects can the dried insects can then be emptied into the garbage. The clear lid top of the drawer allows you to see what is trapped inside the chamber, so there are no surprises (such as bees) when opening to dispose of the dried insects.

E-Trap

The Technology Behind the E-Trap:
Lentek strives to create environmentally safe products to help give people the choice to live without hazardous chemicals, such as pesticides and insecticides, in their lives. Lentek's new E-trap uses a chemical-free way to help rid homes and businesses of unwanted flying pests, such as flies and mosquitoes.

Dangers found with "Bug Zappers" and Glue Traps:
Research has been published recently on how "Bug Zappers" explode the flying insect when it comes in contact with their electrical grids. This explosion results in sending microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses and insect particles, as far as six feet away. Glue Traps also don't eliminate these viruses. In fact, they gather all the bacteria into one place, exposing you and your family to all sorts of contaminates.

How the E-Trap Differs from a "Bug Zapper"
Similar to a "Bug Zapper", the high-density ultraviolet lights attract flying insects to the trap. But...here is how the E-Trap differs from a "Bug Zapper". As the insect nears the reflective grid located at the rear of the cabinet, using the patent pending technology, it experienced a continuous low voltage shock that temporarily disables the insect. It then drops downward to the exclusive sound suppression chamber. Inside the chamber, another, slightly different, low voltage grid slowly disables and dehydrates the insect. You then simply remove the sound suppression chamber drawer and discard the "dried" insects into the trash.

There is no exposure to the bacteria, no exploding insect parts, no burning electrical smells,
no popping noises, and no flying insects to bother you.

The E-Trap has manual setting for day and night and a built-in sensor that automatically switches from day to evening, as most of us would experience more mosquitoes during the night and flies during the day.

Nighttime Setting -
This sets the voltage charge that stuns and dehydrates the insect specifically aimed at mosquitoes and other evening flying insects.

Daytime Setting -
This sets the voltage charge that stuns and dehydrates the insect specifically aimed at flies and other daytime flying insects.

Automatic Setting -
Sensor automatically switches from day to evening setting.

In laboratory testing the E-Trap cleared a 16 cubic foot chamber of 1,000 house flies over night.

Here is a customer's review of the E-Trap:
"...Purchased one E-Trap two months ago and had to have two more. They really work great. I get big horse flies and tiny insects so small I can barely see them. Also get all of the pests in between the big and small..." - Boyd; Ferndale, WA
