STOPS BITING DEERFLIES!

NO CHEMICALS - NO ODORS

Tred-Not Deerfly Patches
Used by: Fishermen, Campers, Hikers, Canoeists, Bikers, Bowhunters, Golfers, Joggers.

Deerfly Patches are 2" by 6" colored patches which attach to the back of the cap or hat and are completely non-toxic and odorless. Deerflies flying around you are attracted to the patch and land on them. When they do, they stay. The special adhesive is formulated to hold the Deerfly but not become stuck to skin. They are easily disposed of.

Deerflies are often mistakenly called, horseflies, blackflies, sweatflies, or greenheads. The bite of the deer fly is very painful to the victim. The Deer fly is a relative of the horsefly. There are at least 63 known species of the genera, Chrysops, found in the United States. They are a biting pest from May through September and as any fisherman or hiker can tell you, the Deer fly is the most persistent and painful biting fly around. They're like blackflies on steroids.

Deerflies are abundant in marshy and wooded areas. They lie in wait in the shade of bushes, trees, and other plants waiting for a victim to pass by. They are attracted to moving dark silhouettes, carbon dioxide, and odors. They usually buzz around your head in circles, lighting momentarily several times before biting. They are strong fliers and will pursue their victim until they get what they want--BLOOD. They are not repelled easily with conventional repellents.

Tred-Not Deerfly Patches were field tested, endorsed, and recommended by the North American Hunting Club (NAHC)

"...I put the patches on (his son's) hat and he hasn't been bothered since".
-- Fred Halt, Canfield, Ohio

"I used the Deerfly Patches according to their directions and they worked great".
- Jeff Drake, Baltimore, Ohio

"Usually the bugs get on my neck and ears but didn't with the patches in place".
-- William Mundy, Amhert, Virginia

TRED-NOT Deerfly Patches were also field tested by the Michigan Department of Fisheries and Wildlife.
Here is what they reported:

"All participants felt the patches were far superior to insect repellents".
"I highly recommend your Patches for Deerfly control".

"I also recommend your Deerfly Patches as the best personal control of biting flies".
