Silva Yellow Sticky Traps

The Sticky Traps work by reflecting the color spectrum of a health plant leaf. Insects attracted to the trap are captured and killed in the powerful sticky glue. Catching and killing those first few insects is easier and more effective than trying to control a serious insect infestation.

Long term use of the Yellow Sticky Traps will reduce troubling infestations without the use of toxic chemicals. Use plenty of traps early in the season for best results. Silva Blue Sticky Traps insect traps specifically attract thrips, a serious pest of ornamental flower and fruit crops. They attack petals and newly formed fruit. Thrips are small, black winged insects that leave small holes in the flowers or small marks on the fruit. They will occasionally bite people, especially the western grain thrips. These insects are best dealt with by using sticky insect traps on a regular basis to monitor their activities. Increase the number of traps used when populations increase, or when damage is occurring.
