The resulting color is read in an Octet Comparator with permanent color standards for pH values of 4.8, 5.2, 5.6, 6.0, 6.8, 7.2, and 7.6. The kit has sufficient reagent for 50 tests and is packaged in a compact, foam-lined polypropylene box.
