Summer 2009:We hope to meet with Health Officials to discuss what policy improvements they have enacted this year. The director has publicly stated that they will raise the threshold for spraying but nothing is in writing yet.

We did some Guerilla Theater See the photos of our fragrance model "Bianca" who tries the new "safe" cologne endorsed by the Health Department called 2+2 by anvil (made with the pesticide they spray). View VIDEO of Bianca (2MB) and a video of her sales pitch 3 MB

Earth Day 2009 - We had an educational booth at Earth Day in Centennial Park.

LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!
We must call upon the Health Department to act responsibly.

CONTACT Karl Dean at mayor@nashville.gov. Tell him that you do not support any government agency, especially one claiming to support the HEALTH of people in our community, purposely exposing pedestrians to a pesticide. The Health Department's spray truck drivers should shut the spray off if pedestrians are present. Ask him to find new candidates for the Health Board. Can you believe this board has 2 physicians and a nurse and not one of them objected to drivers leaving the spray on when pedestrians are near? (The pesticide label says it should not be absorbed by the skin.)
