HEALTH DEPARTMENT'S RECORDS SHOW 2008 SPRAYING DID NOT REDUCE MOSQUITOES
OR PREVENT MORE POSITIVE WEST NILE VIRUS TESTS

Detoxify Radnor Lake Park Group forms on Facebook. Citizens have discovered that Roundup and Rodeo are used in Rador Park. To create change will take public outcry and a willingness to help the state find less toxic solutions for weed control. Nashville is supposed to be working to become the Greenest City in the South. We cannot do it if our parks are not green.

Read about how we finally convinced the director of the Nashville Metro Public Health Department to improve their policies on spraying! Click here.

No Spray Nashville displayed at the Earth Day Celebration at Centennial Park in 2012

We have some creative citizens in our group. We did some Guerilla Theater at the Earth Day Event in 2008 in response to the Health Department's lack of concern over drivers spraying pedestrians with the pesticide Anvil 2+3. See the photos of our fragrance model "Bianca" who tries the new "safe" cologne endorsed by the Health Department called 2+2 by anvil (made with the pesticide they spray).
