These fly larvae are naturally low in chitin and great for baby birds. Tiny wigglers are shipped in wood shavings and are ready to eat upon arrival. To delay pupation, rinse the larvae with lukewarm water and strain with a fine sieve. Place the Wigglers in fresh cornmeal and replace in the original container. Refrigerated, larvae will remain viable for up to two weeks. When ready to use, warm Wigglers to room temprature. Place in a feeding receptacle that is at least 1" deep.

These gnat-sized insects are actually stingless wasps which are shipped as parasitised fly pupae. The wasps emerge on or about the hatch date that appears on the bag. To delay hatching for an indefinite period, refrigerate the bag. To initiate hatching leave the bag at room temperature

To feed aviary birds, leave the open bags on the floor.
For humming birds, hang the bags.
